About Us

A few years ago we moved to Valencia from Naples. Upon arrival we fell in love with Spanish cuisine - we like it as much as ours. We consider ourselves very fortunate to be able to enjoy two of the best cuisines in the world, and nothing motivates us more than sharing that experience with you. Whether you’re just visiting Valencia or if you live here, it puts a smile on our face being able to share with you an authentic Italian culinary experience in Valencia...

Everything that comes out of our kitchen is born from the heart.

 

Our commitment is one of constant learning, a true passion and also of exaltation to the taste for healthy life. La Bothéca was born from a vision that we, as founders, share. That vision has come true thanks to our creativity, curiosity, and the energy that unites us. And also thanks to our grandparents, who shared ancient and magical traditions with us. We offer a simple and attractive cuisine; we use organic ingredients to make tasty dishes.

 

Our recipes come from our trips, our Naples neighborhood markets, old books, conversations with young people and experts, friends, grandparents, and farmers. People who love food and believe that cooking is always an act of love.

 

We like the idea of a healthy lifestyle for the mind and the body. Thus we promote a genuine diet made of healthy and natural food. All our preparations are made with fresh raw materials that are transformed into delicious dishes. We are proud to promote a food model based on the principles of sustainability and rigorous selectivity, without ever renouncing taste.

 

We believe in the philosophy of BIO!

LA BOTHÉCA produces Mozzarella di Búfala in its laboratory and offers a delicious cuisine for the health of the body and spirit, with appetizing and natural dishes.

 

Our products are fresh, they mostly come from nearby suppliers; they come from organic agriculture and livestock in the Mediterranean area, following the philosophy of 'food miles'.


The Mozzarella we produce is made with buffalo milk from the farms of southern Italy.

 

Our Mozzarella is naturally vegetarian and gluten-free; many dishes on our menu also are. Obviously!

We always pay the utmost attention to the selection of the suppliers with whom we work and the raw materials we use.

We exclusively use:


✓ fruits and vegetables from Valencian orchards
✓ wines and cavas from the Comunidad Valenciana
✓ Turia beer on tap (Valencia)
✓ artisan breads from Valencian bakeries
✓ extra virgin oil D.O. Albert House (Valencia)
✓ pasta Rummo trafilata al bronzo (Benevento)
✓ Lasagna De Cecco (Fara San Martino)
✓ balsamic vinegar from Modena Ponti (Modena)

✓ Caffè Borbone (Napoli)

✓ pure osmosis water, microfiltered and treated with ITV machine (Valencia)

All our Mozzarellas have achieved Halal and Kosher certification.

We use seasonal products. Because of that, sometimes we don't have all the ingredients to make all of the dishes in our menu.
